"Good Beekeeping and Good Fellowship"
Club Events
NEKBA hosts and participates in numerous beekeeping events throughout the year.

On March 2nd and 16th, NEKBA conducted a Beginning Beekeepers Course at the Douglas County Fiargrounds. Wow, we had about 50 folks attend! This was a great venue for new beekeepers to get the basics and establish beekeeper contacts.

The Kansas Honey Producer's Association also held it's 2008 Spring Meeting at Great Bend, Kansas on March 7th and 8th. NEKBA had a number of officers and members attend. Not only was the event fun and informative, but we got to see many of our beekeeper friends from around Kansas.

Funday was a great success! Thanks to everyone that participated!
