The following list of club meetings will be held during the 2008 season: 

Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 2:30 pm: Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vernon, Meeting Room, Lawrence, KS - click here for library location.  The topic will be Marketing Honey through Farmers' Markets and Craft Shows, plus other ideas & tips for labeling.

Monday, February 4, 2008 at 2:30 pm: Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vernon, Meeting Room, Lawrence, KS - click here for library location. Topic: Nectar Producing Plants presented by Margaret Johnson.

March 2008   Note: in lieu of our March monthly meeting, we are sponsoring a workshop: March 2 and March 16, 2008 Beginner's Beekeeping Workshop at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, Lawrence, KS (just off K-10 Highway - directions click here).

Monday, April 7, 2008 at 7:00 pm: NEKBA Annual Auction at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, Lawrence, KS (just off K-10 Highway - directions click here). Do you have something you would like to contribute to the club or are you looking for beekeeping items? We hope to see you there!
