How to Renew or Join as a New Member
Review or print NEKBA 2014 Registration.
Submit your payment: via on-line or mail your check & printed registration.

We are excited to offer this new convenience of payment and registration!
We love the service from the USPS but there's no need to mail anything to renew or join.
Use either a credit or debit card or e-check for the on-line convenience of saving time, postage, check-writing, and resources. Every little bit helps...and helps our volunteers, too. Leave "instructions to merchant", if you'd like the newsletter electronically.
Association Dues: Mail-in $15.00 On-line: $15.75
Add & "continue shopping" to select additional items such as ABJ or Bee Culture subscriptions, KHPA (Kansas Honey Producers Assoc), donations. Donations are accepted in increments by $1. The pricing schedule of memberships and other options slightly higher than paying by check to cover on-line payment transaction and processing. Other options to include special events related to beekeeping and value-added will be added as soon as we have worked out those prices.
You do not have to have a PayPal account to use the service.

Subscriptions for magazines will be submitted at the end of each monthly period. NEKBA memberships will be forwarded to the Editor prior to the deadline for the monthly newsletter. Kansas Honey Producers Assn (KHPA) memberships transferred monthly.
Dues help to cover newsletter, printing, paper, supplies, and postage.

NEKBA Membership is open to anyone who is interested in bees or bee culture. Dues are $15.00 per calendar year. Those joining in June or later in the year may pay $7.50 for 1/2 year. Additional members of the family wanting voting privileges shall be assessed dues at $1.00 per year. Youth memberships (18 years of age and younger) are $7.50 per year. Memberships are submitted to the Treasurer.
The association is a not-for-profit IRC 501(c)5 agricultural-educational organization, run by dedicated volunteers, and supported by membership dues. The IRC status means that the association is a tax-exempt organization. While donations are always welcome, they are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution but membership dues and subscriptions may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.
The Bee Buzzer, our monthly newsletter, is the official publication of the Northeastern Kansas Beekeepers' Association, Inc. (NEKBA) and is published monthly. Commercial ads are accepted in the newsletter for a fee, non-commercial ads by members are accepted free for charge.
The association library is free to all members. Books may be checked out at meetings and kept for a period of 30 days. The honey bee publications, The American Bee Journal and Bee Culture can be subscribed directly or through the Treasurer. As an association member, the ABJ and Bee Culture are offered at a 25% and 21% discount, respectively.
Please visit our "Meeting Schedule" page for details. A beekeeping class is held in March. This is a non profit organization; elected officers serve without pay. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting. Check "The Buzzer" each month for the actual date, time and location. If the weather is bad, call an officer to find out if the meeting will be held.
